It has been a very odd winter here in Hendersonville, North Carolina. There have been a few snow storms - but mostly they have gone either north of the Asheville area, or south to the upstate of South Carolina.

I just listed this ACEO on Ebay. It is part of a new series of sunset and sunrise affordable collectible mini paintings I have started which try to capture and share the beauty of Nature in our area.

We have such beautiful sunrise and sunset skies here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. In this painting, - just as the sun is beginning to set - the birds all seem determined to play a last game of tag in the sky before they settle in for the night. Watching the birds and the beautiful sky colors is my favorite way to end the day.
